( Hilsa fish in mustard)
Serve - 3 people
INGREDIENTS :-
Hilsa fish : 3/4 kgs
salt : 1 &1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder : 3/4 tsp
mustard seeds : 2 tsp
Gren chillies ( 3 hole, 3 slit) : 6
Water : 2 & 1/2 cup
Curd : 2 tsp
mustard oil : 4 tsp.
METHODS :-
1. Rub fish with salt and turmeric powder.
2. grind together mustard seeds and whole chillies into a paste, adding a little water (2 tsp) from time to time. blend curd with ground paste and mix with fish.
3. Heat 3 tsp oil in cooker for about 3 minutes. add fish with mustard paste , slit chillies, remaining ater ( 1/2 cup) and oil (1 tsp).
4. close cooker . bring to full pressure on high heat. reduce heat and cook for 2 minutes.
5. remove cooker from heat . release pressure with slight lifting of vent weight.
6. Open cooker. serve hot .
